Interests Page

I have a lot of interests and hobbies, but to truly give them justice, I will be drafting this this page along with a few other things related to my life. Hopefully you are curious enough to read through this, because most of the things I do and the way I think is pretty interesting to say the least.

My interest in technology started at a young age where I used to play games online on a family computer which had Ubuntu installed on it. I was fascinated with games, and I wanted to know how to make these games

When I was 10 years old, I gained exposure to the QBasic language. I got curious about programming and wanted to make games using it. I made a couple of games in QB64 such as rock paper scissors, guessing the number, and several text RPG games related to catching Pokemon. Thus began my obsession with game development in Unity and Godot, which I later explored during my highschool years, eventually dropping it due to competitive exams.

A few years later, I gained a keen interest in CyberSecurity and started exploring my options again by installing a Kali Linux machine and setting up a Virtual practice lab in my old dell laptop as well as the family Ubuntu desktop. I still follow this interest and practice labs at Try Hack Me

I later delved deep into animation during the COVID lockdowns, especially stickfigure fights and then started animating I animated stickfigures for around 2 years, got into niche communities and got pretty good at animation in general, however I had to cut short the interest due to important exams coming up - 10th Boards

After 10th Boards, I immediately started preparations for the IIT JEE examinations, one of the most prestigious universities in India, with the chances of getting into a good IIT being around 0.1%. After 2 years of rigorous preparation, sacrificing my hobbies, and sanity itself, I wasn't able to crack JEE Mains... (86.5 %ile)

I was devastated, and I had to make an important decision, I gave everything into MHTCET and BITS exam and cracked CET with flying colors, and even almost getting BITS Goa in some chemical branch. I had been interested in Organic Chemistry for a good chunk of my time while studying for JEE, to the point I was referring to Clayden and teaching Bachelor and Master Students Ochem on the Organic Chemistry Discord Server

After passing CET and getting into DJSCE Mumbai, I immediately started learning HTML, CSS and JS using my new laptop, doing the thing that I loved the most, programming. I started exploring my options learning different domains of programming, including but not limited to CyberSecurity, Machine Learning, Web Development, and Systems Programming.

In between I got fedup of windows and installed Arch Linux, just for fun.

To make the most of my time, I started going into hackathons and learning more about different domains, and formed a very powerful team GitGoneWild (GGW) with some of my friends, all living well and reached good places.

The current state of my life is going well and I have a couple of projects under my belt, working as a fullstack and AI engineer across web, backend and systems. What I actually chase is the problem itself, the domain is just whatever the problem happens to need that day. Right now most of that ends up being agentic stuff, AI agents, MCPs, RAG and automations that go off and do the work on their own. I am still learning and exploring different domains, different things, improving my systems using a zettelkasten system for improving my workflows, etc.

Part of many good communities related to technlogy, AI and Cybersecurity as well. I also have an interest in Music, Psychology and Philosophy.
